YELLOW IS THE COLOR OF THE SUMMER.

Start buying your yellow sunglasses, tube tops, rompers, dresses, bikinis, scrunchies, and accessories because this color is going to be as hot as the sun this summer.

Ever since Pantone dubbed “Rose Quartz” 2016’s color of the year, it’s been *the* hue of a social media-minded generation of millennials, invading every facet of their lives, from beauty products (hi, Glossier!) and home goods to technology and eating establishments.

I’m here to make a strong case for the arrival of what Man Repeller dubbed Gen-Z yellow — the bright, cheery color that’s about to be the next big hue. It started popping up on celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, and Kendall Jenner in 2017.

And let me tell you: You’re about to see it EVERYWHERE.

Some may think yellow is a hard color to pull off, especially against fair skin. However, there are several ways to incorporate it this summer if your tan doesn't quite work out. Regardless, here are ideas on how to wear yellow:

  1. Accessorize
  2. Use prints and patterns
  3. Wear just one statement yellow piece
  4. Wear all yellow

top yellow items right now seem to be yellow sunglasses, tube tops, maxi dresses, and bikinis.

Best of luck!
