Beauty Hacks
In addition to the beauty tips from my previous blog posts, I’ve picked up a few new tricks since my last lifestyle hack article.
Exfoliate once a week to keep skin smooth, fresh, and healthy (remove dead skin cells and bacteria by exfoliating. This also helps reduce acne.)
Use a jade or rose quartz roller in the morning with a moisturizing serum (vitamin c or e) to de-puff eyes, reduce inflammation, and reduce wrinkles. The rollers tend to stay cool for long periods of time and are known to have calming effects as well.
Use makeup products with simpler ingredients, or wear less makeup. Your skin will thank you.
Use Argan oil after showering to moisturize your hair. Your hair will look shinier, healthier, and softer.
Don’t wash your hair everyday…if you do, you’re not letting your hair breathe or produce its own natural oils. You’re just stripping away its natural oils.
Focus more on consuming enough Omega 3s in your diet to keep moisture in and pollutants out!
Let your hair air dry as much as possible.
Use a 100% cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel to dry your hair. Don’t dry your hair with the same towel you use for your body, as it can ruin the texture of your hair and mess with your natural curl shape (if you have curly hair). Using softer, less winkle-prone materials will also preserve help to preserve your hair’s moisture.
