Honestly WHAT is going on with patterns lately?

I’m only slightly a bigger fan of checkered prints than I am of camo but jeez louise. Maybe it’s because as I get older, I’m beginning to define my sense of style better and I’m realizing I prefer nude and basic colors in quality fabrics (preferably silk). However, I can be a fan of certain prints if paired properly.

For example, Goodbye Bread has a ton of Check print options, including a pink and white cropped jacket (see below). I'm actually a fan of it, and I can see myself pairing it with a white tube top, some black jeans, & possibly my new white booties as well. Stay tuned in case I end up buying it.

As of right now, I cannot imagine wearing a full outfit of the print, while I do envision this happening amongst certain fashion icons. One of my best friends, Nicole, runs an awesome fashion account @variousxvibes on instagram and ROCKS check print.

Maybe the print will grow on me. Maybe it won't. One thing is for sure, it seems to be a hot trend right now and looks great on many people!

For now, just know that the print is in. Especially black and white. Shop wisely.
