2 All-Natural Must Haves

Tired of having dry skin, dehydrated hair, and dull pigmentation in your face? Have you spent your money investing in supposedly miraculous anti-aging products and hair masks?
Due to my experience with having naturally curly hair, dry/oily combination skin, and a horrific sleep schedule, I'm here to tell you that you can save your money and start seeing results.
One of the most important things I've learned over the past few years was to start checking ingredients in products. Too many random chemicals? Bad sign. Unfamiliar or scientific word? Bad sign. "Natural and Artificial"? No such thing.
Item 1: Aloe Vera
Benefits: anti-aging, scar repair, hydrating
Every morning after waking up, I wash my face with a fully natural acne bar of soap, and follow it by rubbing aloe all over my face. Within seconds, I feel my skin tightening and can see it glowing in the mirror. After a week, my eye bags slowly fade and my acne goes away.
Item 2: Coconut Oil
Benefits: hydrates hair, moisturizes skin, replaces greasy cooking (no more olive oil & butter)
I tend to wash my hair every day or every other day with an all natural coconut-curl specific shampoo & conditioner combo, and immediately follow by applying coconut oil through my strands and ends. Before getting dressed, I also spray coconut oil on my body for natural moisturization.
One of my best friends, Kat, and I tried to do pancakes for dinner during finals week. Since we didn't want to go out and buy butter and oil, we just used coconut oil I had in my cabinet. The result? It tasted amazing and felt even better to eat.
One week later, she sends me this:
Let's just say it works wonders.
